Project Information

The Elephant is the landmark redevelopment of the former House of Fraser building at 318 Oxford Street, transforming an iconic 1937 structure into a vibrant mixed-use destination in the heart of London’s West End.

Set for completion in autumn 2026, the project will deliver 366,000 ft² of premium commercial space, including state-of-the-art offices, a 25-metre swimming pool, a gym, and 42,600 ft² of flagship retail units. A signature rooftop restaurant on the 8th floor will offer 360-degree views across the city, establishing the building as a new destination address.

Notably, the scheme will feature a large-scale elephant sculpture crafted from recycled steel, symbolising both the project’s identity and commitment to sustainable urban placemaking.

The Elephant is targeting a high BREEAM certification and is designed to set a benchmark for responsible urban regeneration, blending heritage preservation with modern green building standards.
